Crack Egg Detector CEX

Gentle for Eggs & High precision

Features

The Problems are solved by New Detection Technology

The newly developed “Vibration Analysis Method” is highly precise method to detect the cracked eggs. The traditional “Acoustic Resonance Frequency Analysis Method” had problems of being influenced by noise and sounds of the device. For CEX to inspect the eggs, it is not necessary to hit eggshell strongly to make resonance sounds. It achieves gentle detection which is ideal technology for cracked egg detection.

Characteristics

Mechanism of Vibration Analysis Method

The percussion ball of the tactile sensor bounces lightly on eggshell surface. The CEX detects and recognize the difference of bounces/repulsive force of normal eggs and cracked eggs.
In the case of normal egg, the percussion ball bounces several times.
In the case of cracked egg, the percussion ball hardly bounces.

High Sensitivity, Gentle Tapping

The CEX method for inspection of eggs does not require strong hit on eggshell. It only needs to tap the eggshell surface lightly which prevents the damage on eggshell. Also, it achieves highly precise detection by tapping egg (20-time tapping each) with the tactile sensor which is sensitive and supple.

Compact and Compatibility for Existing System

Compared to the traditional “Acoustic Resonance Analysis Method”, it does not need parts for anti-noising. This enables the CEX to be surprisingly compact, and also, the control box can be stored under the conveyor. It is possible to install most of egg grading system.
(Additional parts and/or remodeling may be necessary for some grading systems)
