High Level Dirty Egg Detection for High Consumer Requirements

Dirty Egg Detector DEE detects the dirty eggs which have dirt on the surface at high accuracy. It uses KYOWA’s unique Image Recognition technology to accurately detect the dirty eggs. Four CCD cameras detects the egg yolk, white, manure, feather, etc. on the egg surface by fluorescent emitting for the egg shell and make the contrast more clearly. As a result, DEE achieves the highly accurate detecting performance.

Four CCD Cameras for Image Recognition

DEE irradiates the black light from above of the eggs. For each egg, the four CCD cameras takes 4-images on sharp side and 4-images on blunt side (Total 8-images), then, it does image recognition to detect the dirty eggs.

Different Egg Color does not influence Detection Performance

Automatic adjustment for White, Pink, Brown color of egg shell is equipped. Without concerning the egg shell color, tiny and pale dirt which is difficult for human eyes to realize would be detected by DEE at high accuracy.

“Real-Time Data” is available to check

It is possible to check the “Real-Time Data” of detection via monitoring screen. When DEE detects a dirty egg, the monitor shows “NG” on the detected egg. Error sign shows up on the monitoring screen when a trouble occurs inside the device. The detecting accuracy level can be adjusted according to the customers’ preference.
